Who we are<\/h2>\n

The Club d\u2019Immersi\u00f3 Biologia<\/strong> (CIB)<\/strong> is a non-profit sports organization founded in 1983, within the Faculty of Biology at the University of Barcelona, to address the needs and concerns of students at the time, just one year after the faculty had moved to Diagonal Avenue. Many of the founding members later became professors and chairs at the faculty, strengthening a bond between the club and the university that continues to this day. <\/p>\n

From the very beginning, the CIB<\/strong>‘s diving philosophy, as well as the guidelines for its diving courses, were aimed at promoting environmentally respectful diving<\/strong> and fostering the parallel training of many marine biology students. In this regard, and framed within a clear service vocation, the CIB has worked and continues to work on the development of its four foundational pillars: <\/p>\n

More and more people are practicing this sport, and if we want our visit to have the least possible impact on the environment, we must be careful and follow some basic tips when diving. Here are the basic rules for environmentally respectful diving. What we find underwater in the future depends on us! <\/p>\n
